Ali Merchant is an Indian television actor. He is probably best known for appearing in TV serials like Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Amber Dhara.

Life and career

Ali Merchant was born and grew up in Mumbai[1] In the popular television series Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Ali Merchant played Bharat. He was then more recognized for appearing in the television serials Saarkar, Shh..Koi Hai, and Amber Dhara. He is currently appearing in the series Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat.[2] He also plays a role in the series Do Hanson Ka Jodaa. He also plays the role of Rituraj in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

He was a guest at the Bigg Boss (season 4) in 2010, during which he got married to another participant and girlfriend, Sara Khan[3][4],.[5]
